The Denali KidCare program is a state subsidized health insurance program for children in low-income families that reside in Alaska.  Denali KidCare provides outstanding health insurance coverage for Alaskan children & teenagers up to age 19, and also for pregnant women who meet certain income guidelines.

Eligibility and Costs

There are no costs for eligible children, teens and pregnant women.  The eligibility guidelines are simple, children under age 19, who live in Alaska, and whose family meet income guidelines are eligible.  In addition, women who live in Alaska and can provide proof of their pregnancy from their health care provider are eligible as well.
