Making Health Care Affordable in Oklahoma
The Insure Oklahoma Health Insurance Program is a state health plan that is administered by the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.
Who is Eligible?
In additon to having a household income within 200% of Federal Poverty Level (FPL), The Insure Oklahoma Health Plan for Individuals is available to those who fall into one of the followinggroups:
1) Working adults who do not qualify for Insure Oklahoma/O-EPIC employer-sponsored Qualified Health Plan, and work for an Oklahoma business with <100 employees
2) Temporarily unemployed adults who qualify to receive unemployment benefits
3) Working adults with disability who work for any size employer and have a ticket to work, or
4) Self employed.
Children under age 19 are not eligible for Insure Oklahoma, but can receive state sponsored health coverage through SoonerCare.
Insure Oklahoma Benefits
The Insure Oklahoma Program covers: Office visits, emergency care, hospital benefits (inpatient and outpatient), prescription drugs, x-rays, maternity care and more.
